Success Stories
It is often thought that charities such as wintercomfort are fully funded
by either national or local government. This is not the case for wintercomfort.
In the current year less than 40% of our annual costs will be met by statutory
sources, leaving us with a total of £221k to raise ourselves.
Can you help us reach this target and thus maintain our services for those who
desperately need them?
How can you help?
- You can donate securely online via Worldpay by clicking here
- You can send us a cheque through the post. Please make it payable to “wintercomfort for the homeless” and send to: Office Manager, wintercomfort for the homeless, FREEPOST ANG 10720, Cambridge CB4 1GZ
- You can request a regular giving form by emailing the Administrator and leaving your name and address – a form will be sent out, for you to complete, along with a stamped addressed envelope for return.
Please don’t forget that if you are a tax-payer we can claim back the tax on your donation without any extra cost to you. Just fill out the Gift Aid Declaration form.
- You may wish to consider leaving wintercomfort a legacy in your will. Such legacies are of enormous value, but as a small local charity we tend to lose out to the bigger, well-known, national charities.
- You could raise money through your church, school, place of employment or club. How about persuading others to join you as a wintercomfort supporter?
