Our team here at Wintercomfort are exceptionally professional and dedicated in supporting homeless people, especially when the need for our services are dramatically increasing."
We held an official photo opportunity on 14th June with Councillor Richard Johnson Cambridge City Council’s City Councillor Richard Johnson, Executive Councillor for Communities.
Cllr Johnson said “We are really delighted to see more employers within the City becoming accredited Living Wage employers. More and more employers, including voluntary organisations like Wintercomfort, are recognising that investing in people and paying a fair wage is the right thing to do. Paying a proper Living Wage isn’t just beneficial to employees who may be struggling with the high cost of living in Cambridge – it benefits the employers themselves, as the evidence suggests that it improves staff motivation and retention, and enhances reputation.”
