We’re incredibly proud to announce that Wintercomfort has been chosen as the Charity of the Year for the inaugural Newmarket Half Marathon on 31st May 2026, and we’d love for you to join us on the start line.
This brand-new event promises an unforgettable day of running, community spirit, and impact. By taking part, you won’t just be pushing yourself physically, you’ll be helping to change lives right here in our local community.
The Newmarket Half Marathon offers a scenic, one-lap course on fully closed roads. Starting and finishing at the iconic Newmarket Rowley Mile Racecourse, the route winds through stunning countryside, offering gentle rolling hills and plenty of space to find your stride. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or taking on your very first half marathon, this is the perfect event to challenge yourself while doing good.
Every pound you raise will go directly towards supporting people experiencing homelessness in Cambridge. Your efforts will help us provide essential services, support, and opportunities to rebuild lives through the work we do at Overstream House.
Entry costs just £25, with a fundraising target of £250. As a valued member of Team Wintercomfort, you’ll receive full support from our team, along with race day perks like chip-timed results, a unique medal and free race photos.
You’ll also be cheered on by our Wintercomfort team on the day, with an information stand and friendly faces ready to celebrate your achievement.
