Wintercomfort supports those with experience of homelessness by offering essential welfare services, social, learning and work opportunities to enable people to achieve their potential.
Our social enterprises form an integral element of our work at Wintercomfort creating training, volunteering and employment opportunities for our service users, while generating a financial return to the charity. We are looking for someone with the experience and skills to manage and develop the existing social enterprises, Food for Food and Overstream Clean & Garden, creating further opportunities for training, volunteering, work experience and employment for Wintercomfort’s service users.
Our Weekend Project Workers are responsible for supporting service user who access our service recieve support according to their needs, ensuring that Wintercomfort is a safe, clean, respectful and welcoming environment to all. Strong inter-personal skills are essential often making quick, yet thoughtful, decisions under pressure.
