For some years, Wintercomfort have participated in The Big Give Christmas Challenge – a match funding campaign that doubles all donations during the first week of December.

Local companies Tendring Pacific and The Firepit Company have been incredibly generous supporters of Wintercomfort over recent years, each donating £6,000 to the appeal.

Anton Hutson, Tendring Pacific’s Founder and Managing Director told me “We are delighted to have been able to support Wintercomfort for almost a decade. What I particularly admire about the charity is that their support goes way beyond simply giving to people. It’s about so much more than handing out soup and sandwiches! Wintercomfort changes lives by helping people to move forward, to gain new skills and the confidence to rebuild their lives.”

Jason Andre of The Firepit Company said “We think it’s really important to support our local community. The work of Wintercomfort to support those in a difficult position to access warmth, shelter, food and more at a time when they need it most is invaluable.”
